Hi, I’m Mira — the person behind Knotami.
I started this site in October 2025 after years of hunting through cluttered pattern PDFs, confusing abbreviations, and half-finished tutorials online. I wanted a place where a complete beginner could pick up a hook for the first time and actually finish something they’re proud of — without getting lost in the process.
That’s what Knotami is: free, clearly written crochet and amigurumi patterns, tested and broken down step by step, with photos and sometimes video walkthroughs to back them up.

I’m based in the United States, and I’ve been crocheting for years as a hobby before I ever thought about sharing patterns. Knotami started small — just a handful of designs I wrote down for friends who kept asking “how did you make that?” — and it’s grown from there ever since.
